100 Million Luge Ride Grand Prize Terms & Conditions

Competition Duration

The competition runs from 1st June 2025 to 31st July 2025. Entries received after this closing date will be ineligible for entry. The winner will be selected by Skyline during August 2025. 

How To Enter

To enter, participants must share a photo and a story about their Skyline Luge experience on Instagram. The post must include the hashtag #100MillionLugeSEA and #100MillionLuge in the caption and tag @SkylineLugeSingapore & @SkylineLugeKualaLumpur in the photo.

Participants may submit unlimited entries, as long as each entry is a separate post.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all residents of New Zealand aged 18 and older. Skyline staff and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. Skyline reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and exclude any person from participating on reasonable grounds. Skyline reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to an entrant who Skyline decides (in its sole discretion) has violated these terms, gained unfair advantage in participating in this competition or won using fraudulent means.

The winner must be available to redeem the prize within the applicable dates. 

Prize

One grand prize: A trip to South Korea for up to four people (specifically limited to 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 18).

The prize includes:

  • Return flights to South Korea (flights will be organised through our travel partner).
  • Accommodation for up to 7 days (accommodation details and location to be confirmed).
  • Entry to a Skyline Luge location for the winner and their family.

The prize has a maximum value of RM 28,000. If the total booking value is less than this, the winner will not be entitled to receive the excess. 

Winner Selection And Notification

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

The winner will be notified by email or Instagram DM in August 2025,following the competition closure.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 48 hours an alternate winner may be selected. If the winner is unable to confirm they are able to redeem prize within 3 days an alternate winner may be selected. Skyline’s decision in all regards will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Other than being nominated as the winner’s travelling companions, no other family members, friends, associates or any other person will be able to participate on the winner’s behalf. 

Prize Redemption

The winner must live in Singapore or Malaysia, or be in either country during the redemption period. 

The trip must be booked within the month of August 2025 and can only be redeemed during: 

  • September 2025 – November 2025 or
  • February 2026 – May 2026

No compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. For the avoidance of doubt, if the winner is, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date during this period, whether the failure was due to reasons beyond the winner’s control or otherwise, then the winner will forfeit the prize.

The winner is responsible for arranging travel documentation (e.g., passports and visas) as required. In addition, the winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included, including transport, taxes, meal costs, spending money, insurance and all other incidentals.

The winner acknowledges that the prize remains subject to the standard booking terms of Skyline and all suppliers (including, but not limited to, airlines and accommodation) booking terms, conditions and restrictions. Any travelling companions included in the prize accept the prize subject to these terms, conditions and restrictions as if references to the winner in the relevant clauses were to the travelling companion.

Skyline makes no representation as to safety, conditions and other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, and local consular offices. The winner accepts the prize at their own risk.

The prize is not transferable, redeemable or refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. 

General Conditions

By entering, participants consent to their name, suburb of residence, image, social media name or handle,  competition post – including their photos, videos, voices and stories) being used by Skyline for marketing and promotional purposes in connection with the competition and for future marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media and website content (including, but not limited to, reposting of entries on Skyline’s their entry/submission on the Skyline’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest accounts, website and blog within Skyline’s electronic direct mail communication pieces). Participants agree and acknowledge that they:

  • waive any claim to royalty, right or remuneration for such use, grant Skyline (and its licensees/assignees) a non-exclusive licence to exercise all rights in perpetuity throughout the world in the above material;
  • represent and warrant that the exercise of the rights granted to Skyline in these terms and conditions will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and
  • indemnify Skyline against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of the foregoing representation and warranty. 

The personal information of the winner may be provided to others assisting, including prize suppliers and deliverers.

If a participant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, Skyline may determine that they are not eligible to win the prize.

The competition is not endorsed, sponsored, administered or associated with  Instagram or any other social media channel. At all times, participants agree to act in accordance with the Instagram Terms of Use, which can be viewed at https://instagram.com/about/legal/terms, and other related policies. By entering this competition, the participant agrees to release Instagram from any liability including for any loss, personal injury or damage.

Skyline reserves the right to modify, extend or cancel the competition at any time, for any reason. To the extent permitted by law, Skyline nor any other person or party associated with this competition is not responsible or liable for:

  • inaccurate/incorrect transcription of entry information;
  • purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, or are other than as directed in any competition instructions;
  • any problems, interruption, delay in operation, defect, deletion, omission, error or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
  • the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the internet or at any website;
  • unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
  • any factors beyond its control, including but not limited to force majeure events, natural disasters or government regulations;
  • electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
  • any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss arising in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a winner and, where applicable, to any travelling companion accompanying a winner; or
  • any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s electronic device or equipment related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.

Where part of the prize is to be supplied by an entity outside Skyline’s control and that entity fails, for whatever reason, to supply the prize, Skyline has no responsibility for the provision of the prize and is not obliged to provide an alternative prize or to take legal action to require the prize supplier to provide the prize.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Skyline nor any other person or party associated with this competition will be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this competition or with any prizes offered. If requested by Skyline, the winner and his or her travelling companions, must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by Skyline and/or its suppliers as a condition of the prize being awarded. Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities may result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and the selection of another winner.

The above conditions do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of Skyline or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again.

In addition to the use of participants personal data as set out above, by entering the competition, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data as outlined in the Skyline Luge Kualua Lumpur privacy policy.
